I used the services of Lynne Scott towards the end of 2013, for a period of a couple of months. We worked together to sharpen up my corporate image that was desperately in need of attention.
Firstly, we went through my whole wardrobe and did an assessment of what I had, how it could be used, and what I needed.
From this initial assessment, Lynne did research on my behalf, via the internet, and visiting clothes shops. This was done to save me time. She knew exactly what she was looking for, and put aside cloths that she had chosen so we could both go later to the stores for me to try on what she had picked out.
We then spent several hours over a couple of weeks then trying on the various outfits, and made purchases of what worked for me. What I particularly loved about this process, was that Lynne had such an `eye’ for what worked, and what was right for me, my shape, colour etc, that we got some incredible bargains. I learnt that you did not have to go to the most expensive shops, you could shop in much cheaper stores, and Lynne was able to find cloths that looked great, they were cheap cloths , but they certainly did not look cheap.
She made so small adjustments to my existing wardrobe, ie adding a belt, or just putting a top and jacket together that I had not thought of. This meant I could wear cloths in my wardrobe that looked fantastic that I had not even thought of putting together.
Next came the make-up and hair. She is expert in this field, and she has done my hair and make-up now for 3 special events that I had to attend. On these occasions I got a lot of extremely positive comments on how good the make-up and hair looked, giving me a lot of confidence in my appearance.
We are next going to be working on Lynne teaching me how to apply makeup correctly, and also how to simply and quickly do my hair in the morning so it looks good all day. I feel that my time with Lynne has been a fantastic investment for me, no longer will I waste money spending money on clothes that just don’t work for me
